Lavoro helps Real Madrid Foundation creating champions of values

Lavoro is one of the new social partners of Alma Branca Foundation, a Guimares institution affiliated with Real Madrid Foundation, which seeks to support underprivileged children, educate and promote values of citizenship through sport. In this context, Lavoro integrated into its social responsibility programme, a financing dynamic of the Alma Branca Foundation, donating one euro for each pair sold of its model Lavoro CUP, whose conception was inspired by traditional football boots. "The Real Madrid Foundation has projects in 75 countries aimed at integrating children at risk of marginalization and exclusion. In Portugal, Alma Branca is an example of success thanks to its work and support, such as that of Lavoro which it has managed to bring together. These are projects that need the support of all", says Julio González Ronco, manager of the Real Madrid Foundation. Alma Branca Foundation is an associated sports school, inaugurated in 2015, in partnership with the Real Madrid Foundation, which supports 130 children at risk of social exclusion. "Sport is a pretext for motivating them, a prize they can access if they succeed. That is why, with a teaching staff of its own, we encourage study support, which we help with homework and test preparation. It is a rewarding mission only possible with business contributions such as Lavoro's, "explains Paulo Teixeira, president of the institution.
